In addition, understanding families need to know about all aspects of their loved one’s health. Involve is committed to helping all parties through improved, timely, and direct communication.
By utilizing smartphone technology, Involve’s mobile app allows nursing facilities to communicate directly with their employees. Our software bridges the lag-time between healthcare facilities and their employees. It offers numerous benefits, both in terms of work satisfaction for the provider and direct involvement for the families, no matter where they are physically located.
How It Works
Involve Healthcare began as a communication portal between healthcare providers, patients, and their families. Upon admission to a skilled nursing facility or a home health setting, the patient’s family will have the option to install the Involve mobile app onto their mobile devices. The admitting family members decide who can access the account and receive timely updates. Families receive and manage information in a secure and private system about their loved one’s health and wellbeing, including but not limited to the status of therapy sessions, details on the discharge plans, and follow-up appointments. Families may also opt-out of receiving phone calls about upcoming appointments by syncing the patient’s schedule with their mobile calendars. Addressing the concerns of family members, the app allows designated family members to make inquires and request to speak directly with the provider.
In 2021, Involve recognized the unique staffing challenges brought about by the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic. Staffing shortages in healthcare facilities were already a significant concern for providers before the pandemic, but the COVID-19 pandemic amplified those shortages more so. Involve, therefore, developed another mobile phone application to address these shortages. Using a variety of marketing platforms, Involve attracts more people to healthcare professions. With a focus on improving the certified nursing assistant labor pool, Involve registers these potential “new” nursing assistants in the mobile app and utilizes various funding available to help them obtain training and certification. They will receive push notifications as they progress through the training and certification process and communicate their progress to Involve. Upon obtaining certification, Involve’s mobile app will assist these new CNAs in finding employment. Once employed, they receive surveys allowing them to detail successes and challenges to their employer. The real-time surveys permit employers to recognize perceived issues more quickly and provides them the opportunity to utilize the results to create a better working environment, reducing employee turnover.
